Hi, I'm Mai Ravish
Senior Strategic Program Manager
Great programs need more than just planning - they need someone who speaks both tech and people
About Me

I'm a program manager with 6 years of experience, who thrives on connecting people and turning big ideas into impactful plans. Over the years, I led complex development projects, helped shape how teams operate, and built processes that made scaling and delivery more effective.
While managing and leading technical and infrastructure projects, I implemented PMO methodologies, including standardizing the epic lifecycle, defining release and rollout processes, and driving the adoption of project management best practices.
I am most passionate about simplifying complexity, building robust processes, forming strong collaborations, and creating programs that make an impact.

"Help on the Way"
Supporting elderly individuals in getting the care and essentials they need. This initiative focuses ensuring elderly individuals receive proper care, medication, and daily necessities.
Selected Projects

Intelligent Route Planning Platform
Led the development of the Network Optimizer, a large-scale planning platform built for the Department of Education of New York City (10,000+ daily shifts and 150,000 students) as part of one of Via's biggest SaaS deals — a $36 million contract. Worked with cross-functional teams across algorithms, backend, and frontend to deliver a stable product, define success metrics, and scale the platform for international markets.

Quarterly R&D Scope Planning
Managed end-to-end quarterly planning for the entire core and algorithms departments, covering 25 development teams and directly impacting the work of hundreds of developers. Established OKRs, defined the scoping process from architectural design to development requirements, and balanced resource allocation to align product and business goals.

Epic Lifecycle Formalization
Formalized the end-to-end epic lifecycle process—from early scoping with product and development leads to post-execution rollout with business and customer success teams. Supported the adoption of a structured rollout strategy, introduced risk assessment practices, and helped define testing processes to improve delivery quality and cross-functional coordination.

Data Team Agile Transformation
Acted as PMO for the data teams, introducing and implementing agile methodologies. Facilitated sprint ceremonies, agile metrics and KPIs, and implemented structured processes to align business priorities with technical deliverables.

BFF Service Integration
Led the strategic integration of a Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) service into a widely used product. This initiative significantly enhanced product scalability. Successfully orchestrated complex system components and managed the rollout of a live production system to a new and improved architecture, ensuring a seamless transition without disrupting user experience.

Core Algorithmic Flow Architecture Redesign
Led a major infrastructure redesign of the product's core flow to create a faster, more sophisticated filtering system that determines optimal assignments. Spearheaded the development of a new backend service and coordinated the seamless migration of all integrated flows from the legacy service. The result was a significantly more scalable platform, enabling the launch of advanced new features while reducing runtime and improving overall system stability.
